Steps and Calories Burned: Reading Your Daily Activity

CaloTec-AI updates your step count automatically from the phone source you select. The activity screen shows today, keeps a history, and adds an estimate of calories burned from steps. Together, those three parts make the day easier to follow.
Start with the Step Source
Choose an available step source and approve the relevant permission. Once connected, the count updates in CaloTec-AI throughout the day.
With Health Connect, Android presents the step-reading permission screen. The available steps from that source then reach the activity screen through the phone's familiar permission flow.
Give Today's Number Some Context
The daily step count shows the activity received so far. Open the screen again later to see the updated count and how it progressed during the day.
History adds previous days to the view. Move through the available dates, compare the counts, and see the pace forming in your routine.
Add the Calorie Estimate
CaloTec-AI calculates estimated calories burned from the step count. The estimate presents the same activity as energy and appears beside your steps.
A simple way to read the screen is to start with today's steps, move to history, and then check the calorie estimate. Each value has a clear role in that order.
Keep Updates Flowing
Keep the selected step source connected and read permission active. If updates pause, open the source settings, check the connection, and return to the activity screen.
A continuous history gives you more days to review. A quick check every few days is enough to confirm that the count keeps updating.
Place Steps Inside the Rest of Your Day
CaloTec-AI brings calories, nutrition, steps, weight, and water into one app. After reviewing activity, continue to the other measures in the same diary and tracking routine.
Connecting a step source is the first action. From there, the daily count, history, and calorie estimate build in the same activity view.
