Terms and conditions for using the CaloTec-AI application
Introduction and Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using the CaloTec-AI application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
Usage Rights and Restrictions
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes only. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease the App or any part of it without written permission.
Privacy and Data Security
Your meal diary, weight and goals stay on the device. Online features send the required information to external providers: a meal description to Google Gemini or the DeepSeek fallback for analysis, and account, analytics, advertising and notification data to Google services according to your choices. Content and Intellectual Property
All content in the App, including text, graphics, logos, AI algorithms, and features, are protected by copyright and owned by CaloTec-AI. Use of content is permitted only within the normal use of the App.
Service Availability and Updates
We strive to provide available and stable service but do not guarantee 100% availability. The App may undergo periodic updates to improve performance and security. Updates will be performed according to relevant app store policies.
Safety Guidelines and Liability
The App provides general nutritional information only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Information is provided 'as is' without warranty of accuracy or suitability for individual health conditions. Consult a healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CaloTec-AI shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from use or inability to use the App. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App (in this case - zero, as the App is free).
Changes to Terms and Governing Law
We reserve the right to update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted in the App and will take effect after publication. These terms are governed by Israeli law, and Israeli courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.
